ReadUnlock - Children's Reading App
Nothing. ReadUnlock collects no personal information at all. There are no accounts, no servers of ours, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. All data stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

ReadUnlock uses Apple's Family Controls framework to apply app restrictions. This requires authorization from the device's Screen Time settings.
We do not have access to which specific apps are installed on the device. Apple's framework handles this privately using opaque tokens that are never transmitted to us.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never see or store your payment information.
Subscription management (cancellation, renewal) is done through your Apple ID settings. After any free trial, the subscription auto-renews monthly or annually — at the price shown in the app when you subscribe — unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
ReadUnlock is intended for children to use under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). No account creation is required, and we do not collect personal information from children — or from anyone.
A child's reading progress and quiz data never leave the device. Parents can review everything in the PIN-protected Student Report screen, and may share a report themselves using the standard iOS share sheet — nothing is sent automatically.
ReadUnlock uses no third-party services. No analytics SDKs, advertising networks, tracking services, or external servers of any kind. Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple.
The parent PIN is stored in the iOS Keychain — encrypted, sandboxed to this app, and saved only as a salted hash, never in plain text. All other data is stored in the app's private local storage and is not accessible to other apps.
Parents can permanently erase all stored data at any time using "Erase All Data & Start Over" in Parent Settings.
